3D stereoscopic 3D!

My first attempt at something like this. I used 2 cameras to do this but I think the image is wrong for something like this. Or perhaps I didn’t do it right. Still there is some sense of depth. Put ‘em on if you got em and see for yourself. In the mean time I’ll keep experimenting and make a better image.

Yes, I agree with you, there’s some sense of depth! I hope that soon we can have a 3D laptop as well!!!

I hope so too! :) Thanks for the comment Vania!

  3. Hey Tim, very awesome work. I can’t wait until I can afford to buy a 3d monitor and start producing some real 3d 3d work. Heh. I would love to see you write up some mental ray tutorials. I like the way the light looks in your renders. I was supposed to start my 3d head tutorial, but the delivery of the lifecast was set back as there was heavy flooding in one of the states the service had to go through. Anyways, keep up the good work. I agree that producing a portfolio is not always fun and seems overwelming when you are in the beginning stages of it.

Hey thanks for the comment! Yeah, I thought about doing a tutorial on explaining and how to use Mental ray. I first want to make some more renders to get fully comfortable with the works. Oh, man I really can not wait to see what you’ve got up your sleeve! I’m betting your project is going to be very, very awesome. Keep me updated!
