I’ve been quite busy these past few days. I haven’t gotten around to do a whole lot of work…Well, that’s not really true. I’ve been working on a “self-portrait” if you want to call it that. The style I’m going for is stylised, cartoony. It’s not quite there yet. What I ultimately really want is a style comparable to that of the Clone Wars. It’s very much a work in progress. The eyes need a little work but all in all it’s going pretty good with this latest project. One thing though, this is tough as nails! I’ve never really done something like this actually. I’m a self-taught guy so I don’t know all the tricks when it comes to human modelling. I’m planning on animating this one too. It’s going to be a while before you see the finished product…but when you do, I hope you’ll enjoy it.
Mini-me…sort of

Clone Wars… I like it. Keep working on it. I will be patient and wait to see the finished product. I think you have a lot of passion in what you do, especially so when you are self-taught. Cheers.
Thanks for the comment Jason! Yeah, I certainly keep working at it. This is the hardest thing I’ve done so far but I keep a positive attitude about it. I will finish this and you’ll most definitely get to see it. Thanks for stopping by
Hi Tim! I used to draw quite well when I was younger, but a had great difficulty in drawing faces. Well, I’ll wait you to finish the work to comment!
Have fun and good luck!
Hi, thanks for stopping by
You should try picking up your drawing again. I’d lover to see some of your work. The modelling is going quite well. I think it’ll be finished quicker then I first thought. Thank you for the support
waiting for the finished product Tim….
I will deliver my friend. Don’t worry
Wow, so far so really good!!!!!. Take your time for the eyes. They are the windows to your soul.
Lots of succes!!!!
That will indeed be a real challenge. They are the windows to the soul. Thank you so much for the comment!
Very promising job! Looking forward to see it completed… Meanwhile, if not done yet, please have a look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artificial_cranial_deformation, might be a good source of inspiration…There are many other sources for those deformed skulls, most of them remaining mysterious (you should like that)
Thank you for the comment and the link Xea! I’m really digging the skulls. Thanks again
